Automation Engineer / Medical Products (JO 090802)
Key role for this expanding manufacturer of injection molded plastic assemblies for medical applications. You will be responsible for the expansion and optimization of a highly automated assembly and packaging facility including process development and optimization, machine definition and acquisition, vendor management, process validation, testing, facilities engineering and product enhamcement. This is a growing firm introducing new products and increasing production levels. You will enjoy a good deal of variety in your daily tasks, work closely with the Director, product development, facilities, quality and production departments. Detailed design support is available but you should be comfortable with Solidworks for concept description, tooling and fixture design.
Requires: A BS / MS and 8 or more years of experience in manufacturing automation. You will be familiar with normal elements of automation including machines, actuators, PLC's & computer Software. This is an FDA / ISO manufacturing facility so you will be a familiar with V&V, documentation and process definition

Quality Engineer / Medical Products (JO 090503)
This is a good opportunity for a hands-on Quality Engineer who enjoys working closely with manufacturing to optimize quality and throughput. Responsibilities will include establishing In-process testing points, QC standards, NCMR & Deviation systems, Corrective Action, process trending, validation support, and compliance to internal standards – FDA / ISO and regulations. This is an operation of a few hundred people and the candidate selected will be one who enjoys working in an interactive company in which engineering, manufacturing, quality and science professionals work closely.
Requires: A BS and 5 or more years of experience in Quality Engineering. Hands-on experience and knowledge of basic FDA/ISO practices required.
Starting Salary to ~ $95 K/yr.

Process Engineer / Biotech (JO
080803)
Growing firm is enjoying increased demand for its line of patient diagnostic Immunoassay products and has an urgent need for a process engineer to establish manufacturing capabilities for new products and expand production capacity for existing product lines. Candidate selected will transfer new technology, perform re-validation, write process documents, validate protocols, manage the startup of production, and develop tests and methods to meet FDA requirements.
Requires: A BS in Engineering or Science and 5 or more years experience in Process development / engineering for consumables and diagnostic reagents manufacturing. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments desired.
Starting Salary $90 to $100 K/yr.
