Manufacturing Project Engineer – Medical Instrument Components (JO 060302)
Our client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to handle projects from consulting with clients through design modification and finalization, manufacturing planning, tooling development and delivery. This position combines traditional design/project engineering with manufacturing engineering responsibilities. If you enjoy working with customers and taking product families through the complete manufacturing through delivery process this could be for you. Manufacturing Engineer - High Volume Assembly (JO 050403)
Our client is a well-established consumer product company involved in the design and manufacture of mechanical assemblies. We have an opportunity for a Jr. to Mid-level Manufacturing engineer to work in an environment of automated and high-volume hand assembly manufacturing. This firm has a large and varied product line and you will facilitate the introduction of new products and variants to production. Your work will combine the development of tooling, fixtures and equipment with process development and optimization, and consultation to product development and equipment engineering. Our client has an opportunity for a versatile Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in bringing new products into production. You will have a wide range of responsibilities and broad exposure to clients, design, process, tooling and quality issues. Typical responsibilities will range from reviewing and finalizing the design of new products, establishing performance metrics, and developing new manufacturing processes and techniques in machining, swaging, shaping, brazing, welding, and assembly. This is a cross-functional job that will afford you the opportunity to contribute to the achievement of company goals and the establishment of efficient, competitive manufacturing practices. You will play an important role in the employment of SPC, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma manufacturing processes.
Requires: At least a BSME and 7 or more years of experience in metals machining operations. We need a project level person who enjoys varied responsibilities in a busy environment. You will take projects from concept to delivery. An advanced degree and expertise in the joining of current manufacturing, planning and project methodology with real-world production requirements would be great.
Starting Salary to $85K/yr., good suburban location.
