Staff Engineer – Mechanical (JO

This well-established company has an
opportunity in its growing product design group for a senior level mechanical
design engineer. This position involves a combination of research, design,
development, analysis (GD&T) and introduction to manufacturing functions.
You will work with molded plastics, fine metals, insertion molded products,
packaging and design-for-high-volume assembly (200,000 to 1mm/yr). Their varied
and changing product line requires an engineer to determine appropriate levels
of investment to meet product specifications. You will design for international
customers and familiarity with electrical and mechanical design standards is required.
Requires: At least a BS degree in mechanical
engineering and five or more years experience in product design, familiarity
with 3-D design tools (Solidworks), creativity and good communications skills.
